Smashing boobs

Aghhhhhhhh! Thanks to pregnancy expansion every time I open a flipping door I bash my own chest. The shower is the worst and even though I do it everyday I still can't remember not to. Am I the only one this masochistic?

And the cold, oh my goodness the cold is killing me. What can I do? I don't want to wear more layers (already feeling too warm most of the time) but if a chill breeze hits then it is tear inducing agony. Rubbing for warmth just isn't an option on a train station platform (officially the most inhospitable environment ever designed). Is there an answer?

I thought this was going to be a thread about how pleased you are with your boobs.

bananaramama · 17/10/2017 17:21

Oysterbabe hahahaha!

OP - I've had really painful nipples when cold. It's AGONY. I found this thread which you may find useful:

I think it's called Raynaud's syndrome. I also suffer from chillblains (terrible circulation) and it sounds quite similar.

Thanks to pregnancy expansion every time I open a flipping door I bash my own chest.

Oooh thanks OP I had forgotten this happened to me too in my first pregnancy .

I was wearing bras with cups as big as my head - 2 children later I am an A cup. This might or might not cheer you up Grin

NickMyLipple · 17/10/2017 17:32

My nips were such agony the other evening with cold that I wet some kitchen towel, microwaved it for a few seconds and stuck it in my bra! Classy 😂

Another one here who thought you were going to talk about how your boobs were amazing. I am slightly disappointed but also relieved as I'd have been sad (boobs have not grown at all and I'm 35 weeks along. They are however naturally an e/f cup)
I find that taking my bra off under my top helps keep my boobs warm when I'm changing or failing that, DH is more than happy to warm them up for me as he is constantly warm.
I do forget I'm slightly bigger now though and try going through gaps before having to admit defeat.

ElsieMay123 · 20/10/2017 12:38

oysterbabe quite the opposite, not pleased at all!

Will try some pads to see if they help. I've been told years ago that I have Raynauld's but that there was nothing that could be done :-( I need some kind of low profile wheat bags...

I learned on a training course yesterday that you can buy lambs wool breast pads for extra warmth. Not ever seen one but might be worth a google.

Not my boobs (they’ve always been on the big side and are just getting seemingly saggier and darker in pregnancy, joy!) but my bump. I’ve smashed myself with the door knob three times this week, it’s like I haven’t updated my spacial awareness

AlexsMum89 · 20/10/2017 13:18

I too thought this was a thread about how great your boobs are. Now I'm disappointed!
I wanted to share my excitement that after never being above a B cup I am now a D and still growing! (at 11 weeks).
I have hit them a few times too, and they are getting in the way when I try to sleep.
Boob armour? hahaha

katmarie · 20/10/2017 17:12

Mine have gone out of all proportion and seem to just get in the way of everything, cupboard doors, desks, anything I can catch them on I will. I've gone from an E to a H cup, and still only 27 weeks, I'm slightly alarmed at how big they might actually get! Also my overexcited puppy accidentally bit my nipple a couple of weeks ago, that made my eyes water, I can tell you!
