Someone please give me your best cures or relief for the pain?! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I had it in my first but I don't remember it being this bad! I've had it on and off for a few weeks but yesterday i woke up with it and it's gone yet! I didn't get much sleep last night with the pain.
It's definitely this and not tooth ache because it moves all round my gums and I can never really pinpoint where abouts it is. My gums are also swollen and red too. I went to the pharmacy but they said theirs nothing I can use, not even baby bonjela!

Have you been to the dentist to have it checked out, just in case? I say this because I had a molar literally snap in two last week (cheers for that one, pregnancy!)

Mine recommended I swap to Corsydol toothpaste and mouthwash to help with the gum inflammation and had me come in a couple of days later for a scale and polish - my gums are already feeling somewhat better.

Def get to dentist for a check up. I had to go on wed myself as could feel a gum infection starting. Now he told me just to rinse with salt water regularly through the day. You could also Google oil pulling. It's meant to be very good.
There's also a mouth rinse called genigel or gengigel. It's designed specifically for healing minor gum irritations etc. And safe in pregnancy. (Says this on box).

I'm going to ring the dentist on Monday, but last time he said there was nothing he could do about it and to use the mouth wash!
I'll see if he can give me some anti biotics if possible though as I've read online they can help.
I've just done the salt water rinse, I'll carry on with that until Monday. It's driving me mad!
Thanks for the advice!
