3D/4D scans

Ive just booked a 3D/4D scan for a couple weeks time. Ill be 28 and a half weeks by then.

Just wondered if anyone else has had one and what they thought of it.
Also we dont want to know the sex of our baby and im a bit worried that with the 4D scans being so good we will see it by accident, or rather ill be tempted to look!! lol
Is it possible to see the sex by accicent?

Just hoping the whole experiencce will be exciting i cant wait!

Im really excited to see my baby, so hoping im not dissapointed!

Don't worry about seeing the sex-the sonographer can turn the screen to you when he/she is focussing on the face/head.
You will love it!

lucky you. I cant justify the expense. keep looking on web sites though and saying our baby is like that now!!

i went with my friend when she had hers it was fantastic ,,very wow! choose the music you would like on the dvd they give you and they put it on like a soundtrack she had the first time ever i saw your face

Talk about wow! I went to a clinic in central London called The London Ultrasound Centre and they have the most amazing setup.

The pictures are shown on a huge plasma screen - it's like being in a small cinema!

And it gets even better when you get the DVD, they edit it like a little film. Have a look a their 4D website to see more here

If you're going for a 4D scan i can't recommend them enough. My eldest loves watching the DVD.

i had a 4d scan at 27 weeks from babybond they have a few franchises around the country. i found it absolutely amazing! we got a dvd of our little boy (we wanted to know the sex) sucking his thumb, yawning, waving and tickling his toes.

they are well worth the money! if you dont want to know the sex just tell the sonographer and they will stay away from that area.
