Went to the Dr last night out of hours after my foot which has been painful a few days swelled up and felt hot to touch. Phoned 111 and was seen straight away , I assume due to the risk of blood clots or other pregnancy related stuff. Dr said it's an injury caused by my spd which is causing me to walk strangely and has affected the metertarsals.
It's all extremely hard to walk on today and was smaller when I woke but now swollen again and I don't know what to do. The Dr's advice is to get a physio refferal if I can and to get orthotic supports but it just seems odd that it swelled up so long after it started hurting and I don't remember injuring it. Has anyone had similar injuries through SPD? The Dr gave me a checkover so at least it's nothing sinister but I feel a bit hopeless because it's getting worse and it's so hard to get around.
