Hi I had Stretch and Sweep yesterday, the midwife said i was 1cm but stretching to 2cm when relaxed, also 50% effaced but cervix still relatively posterior. She seemed really hopeful as managed to get her finger around babies head high enough to tell me where he was looking and said she hoped i'd be back in last night to have the baby if not then definately this week.
Now i didn't really believe her but it did get me a bit excited. I had my bloody show immediately after the sweep and then just clear blood streaked discharge (like ewcm) until this morning i lost my plug.
Can someone just talk me down and tell me they had the same and didn't have their baby
