Cervix ready?

I'm currently 37+5 with 3rd dc and I have had thrush since finding out I'm pregnant...taken many swabs and pessary's and creams blah blah blah but it hasn't gone so doc has put me on coping creams until baby is born and we can take stronger meds. (Currently Pessarys every week and cream daily)
So today I tried to put my pessary in and couldn't get it past my cervix!
I appreciate I'm not in the best shape to be getting the perfect angle but I literally had to poke around until I could find a way past to put the pessary as far up as I could.
I have never had to dig around before this far gone in pregnancy so don't know if I've had this before but I take it this is normal and my cervix had just turned to anterior position?
It was literally right there... like half a finger away from the entrance Hmm
I'm sorry this may sound weird but do you think this is normal?
