I can't get enough watermelon at the moment. I'm only 12 weeks so I dont know if it's a dehydration thing. I've eaten half a massive one today.

I started at about 8 weeks (I didn't know I was preggers, even)Blush. My craving was for soil. Not any old soil, but soil from a particular potted plant. I used to wrap some up and take it to work with me. Blush.

Yum! I'll stick with watermelon thanks Grin

I've had aversion after aversion but I do love the smell of vinegar. Wouldn't say it's a craving though as I've always liked the smell. Definitely find it interesting seeing and hearing about other people's cravings though as I've not had any.

Not long before I took my test I bought a jar of gherkins and ate them straight out the jar 🙈 It then went onto ice lollies/ice cream must have been about 8 weeks. Now I can't get enough of strawberry milk I'm 29 weeks tomorrow

Mine kept changing. At first it was pears, then haribo and then fresh chocolate milk or McDonald's milkshake.

RedBlackberries · 07/10/2017 09:50

It was gherkins for me last time. I ate all the gherkins at a buffet at a family party!

No so much cravings but my taste buds have completely changed! I would fight anyone for the last bit of chocolate or sweet food and couldn’t stand sour food, now I love sour stuff and want salty food !

BexleyRae · 07/10/2017 10:43

Like pp I didn't really have cravings, but I went off tea and coffee and water tasted weird for the whole of my pregnancy. I did eat lots of KFC though, it seemed to help with the sickness

Veinarde · 07/10/2017 10:59

I am eating gherkins, Indian pickles from a jar Grin and tons of easy peelers - totally obsessed!

Hairgician · 07/10/2017 11:31

With my first I made almost daily trips to local mcd's drive thru. Chicken legend meal with full sugar coke. Don't know why but really helped with sickness. Couldn't look at one now though.

Early on in my fourth pregnancy I craved fresh orange juice and anything battered and salty from the chippy. In the last trimester I developed pica and craved chalk and clay and it used to drive me mad as I never indulged. The craving disappeared as soon as I gave birth.

kingfishergreen · 07/10/2017 11:49

When I had morning sickness I could only eat M&S Hama be cheese sandwiches for ages.

Once that'd passed, I was 'all about' strawberries and Cheerios, I hate bajillions of them.

kingfishergreen · 07/10/2017 11:49

Ham and cheese...of course.

Yogagirl123 · 07/10/2017 11:50

First pregnancy, honeydew melon, couldn't get enough of it, I had to have melons in the fridge at all times, if DH went shopping I said get me a melon, he would say we have got two in the fridge, I know but I want another one just in case! Second pregnancy broccoli, broccoli with everything, broccoli with dinner, broccoli quiche, broccoli soup the lot.

RedBlackberries · 07/10/2017 12:41

bexley I've got the water thing too. We always order dd the free soda water at the pub and both times I've had a sip I've had to spit it out. Tastes like chemicals to me.
