Back to back - tips to turn!

I’m going to check the spinning babies website out this weekend too, but thought I’d ask for advice here too.

33w and after being in hospital today for various issues (mainly me having a virus) , I got told baby is now in position, however he is back to back... again!

First DS was b2b and labour was hell, on my back induction, ended in EMCS 4 days later.

So, whilst I’m aware he could change position a tonne of times between now and then, any tips to get him facing the right direction??

Probably also worth mentioning I have an anterior placenta.

Are you sleeping on your left hand side already? Apparently that helps get them in the right position. I think there are also (yoga like) positions you can practice to help as well.

I am managing about half the night on my left, but have to switch sides half way through the night as I end up in pain in my hips!

Any aquanatal classes near you? Really good for encouraging optimal positioning. Also any forward leaning when sitting down, so no relaxing on a nice comfy sofa Hmm
Try and have a birth plan to include active labour and no on your back position if you can
