Could be - try to eat and sleep as much as you can today just in case!

Any other bodily function signs like diaorreah / nausea / mucus plug etc are things to watch out for.

On the other hand, weird shit happens all the time at that late pregnancy stage so could be nothing!

I’ll be thinking of you today, random stranger on the internet, just in caseFlowers

Oh and I was 37+2 with my first DS.

Stay active, go for big long walks / waddles inbetween naps. At 37+2 DS was small (6lb) so didn’t have as much oomph to come out so it took a looooong time. I really think moving about more would have helped.

Exactly how mine started!! Good luck

That's how mine started. Good luck 😊

How are you feeling now??

Roxx1516 · 06/10/2017 16:28

I had period type pains and felt there was a lot going on inside, I also had a clear out as they say and did have a bit of diarrhoea, and I was leaking water with pink blood n that was a day before my waters broke fully and my contractions started, try stay calm though and just let it all happen naturally. Good luck :) x

No experience so I don't know, but just wanted to say good luck! How are you feeling now, op?

Camellapella · 06/10/2017 21:01

Nothing's happening just yet Sad I really thought it was the beginning of something but they went as quickly as they came. however similar pains are back again tonight and I'm also feeling rather restless and uncomfortable. I did have a bit of a "clear out" yesterday which I didn't think anything of until reading your comments. Thanks all, will keep updated x

Any tips on how to get things going other than being active as that's not working for me Hmm

Play with your nipples it's makes you contract down there, although you should just wait until it happens naturally, don't go forcing things x

DH about?? Sex worked for DD!!

Celticlassie · 06/10/2017 23:37

That’s exactly how mine started, 37+2! I was googling ‘early labour’ at 9 and my waters broke at 2.
