13 DPO AF due but BFN?!

Hi! Looking for a bit of advice on here. I feel like I'm pregnant - been getting left side pelvic pain, cramps, nipples really itchy(?) and just generally feel light headed and off. My AF is due today which is also 13 DPO and I got a BFN.
With regards to my periods I've always been pretty regular on a 28 day cycle so with no sign of AF today I'm tentatively hopeful? Any advice/experience stories would be greatly appreciated!!

I was pretty clockwork but had to wait almost another week to test and get a BFP. I didn't ovulate late as I know the exact date we had sex and it was bang on... I'd advise you to wait a bit longer just to see. Sometimes it can take a while to get the positive.

But then, I've also not been ttc. We decided, we dtd the once, I got pregnant. Was the easiest thing I've done. Didnt even occur to me it might take a while so I didn't even symptom spot (didn't realise it was a thing until I joined mumsnet)

Thanks for replying @DeadDoorpost! Yeah I didn't really start looking for symptoms until I came on here either haha! No sign of AF so I'm 14 DPO and officially a day late. Keep getting cramps and rushing to the toilet but nothing!

I kept a pad on just in case, which helped ease any concerns I might leak. Hold out for a few more days and take the test again. Good luck!

Have you tested again today?

I tested using IC at 13dpo and it was what most sane people would've called a BFN. There was a very slight whisper of a line if I held it up to the light and squinted a lot. At 14dpo with FMU and using FRER I got a very clear BFP.

@DT2016 congrats on your BFP!

Nope not tested again today - going to hold out until the weekend to see if AF shows or not!

Also the test I used yesterday was a cheapie digital test so I don't know if maybe it's just too early to use a digital? Any recommendations for best tests to use this early to get a BFP?

I think First Response Early Results (FRER) are meant to be the gold standard of reliable tests.

Do you temp? The reason I tested 14dpo was because I didn't get my usual temp drop.

I just used ones from Poundland Hmm didn't want to fork out loads of money for a digital if it was going to come up negative. May have got one to double check if the line hadnt been so strong...But then, I also don't know much about the different tests as I wasn't trying to get pregnant.

Hmm. Might go with the cheapie £1 land ones at the mo just incase I get another BFN at the weekend! I've already done like 4 tests lol - I did a FRER on Sunday which would have been 10dpo and got a BFN, same for Monday. I was convinced AF was gonna start last night cause I had major cramps in bed! But no sign still. Feel really off today though - mild cramps, light headed, off my fave crisps. But trying not to get my hopes up as could all be due to AF coming! Hate waiting :(

Update! So I'm now 15dpo, still no sign of AF. Had mild cramping on and off and feeling really light headed most of the time. Tempted to buy some more tests but don't want to be disappointed by BFN! Thoughts?

I'm so confused! Yesterday evening I started getting cramps again and then went to the loo and had some creamy CM which I thought was a good sign? Did a test today with FMU and it's a BFN! Thought I saw the faintest shadow of a line but I think it's more wishful thinking :(

So this is the test from this morning but bare in mind that was now 12 hours ago lol. Pretty sure I must have had line eyes :( I did an o test as well just to check and that's neg so I think I've got my cycle timeline correct. Today I've had no symptoms at all up until about half an hour ago when I could've sworn AF was here - cramps, back pain - went to the loo and was just a small bit of creamy cm :S still very confused!

Update - I'm now 18dpo and still no sign of AF. I'm starting to think I got my dates wrong? I had what I thought was IB on 3-5 dpo but now I'm thinking maybe it was a really light period? But then surely I should be ovulating by now.... :S
