Lots of movement

Not sure where I'm going with this thread but just wanted to see what others are experiencing.

I'm 26 weeks on Friday and according to my notes my placenta is at the back.

Its my first baby and I'm so shocked at how much he moves. Its like constant whirling around, punching, kicking. You can see the movement through my jumper sometimes. The only time I don't notice him is when i'm walking. How much movement is normal? I know everywhere says only to worry if the movement stops so I'm not concerned per say - but curious.

Every baby is different. My placenta is at the front so I don't always feel the movements but he still moves a lot and the movements can be seen through my top occasionally.
My cousins baby barely moved at all and didn't find out she was pregnant until about 33 weeks or so... so it's totally normal to have a baby that moves a lot. My BiL was aparently a baby that moved NonStop and he's still the same now 26 years later.

I don't know how much is 'normal' as I'm 34 weeks with my first - but I can empathise with having a very active baby!

My placenta is at the front so I guess I'm cushioned from some of it, but he Never. Stops. Moving. It's much more noticeable to people on the outside now that he's getting stronger and running out of room. I can see them watching the bump leap around in horror Grin

I'm having twice weekly scans due to a concern about his growth and every time they comment on how much he moves around. I asked a few times if the level of activity in the womb was going to translate to an active newborn - of course no one knows for sure but the general consensus was yes! EEK!

I have a very active baby too, today being one of those days. He does have quiet days when I panic but usually very active 😊

haha I imagine that is funny. I suspect this'll happen to me, the bigger he gets.

I wondered if active in the womb translated to the outside, yikes!

I'm 8 months in and I feel that some days little one's more active than others. I don't think there's anything to worry when getting lot's of movement as it's pretty normal.
