Room thermometers ?

Can anyone recommend a good baby room thermometer? Iv just been looking at the gro company's egg which changes colour but it's mains operated which I didn't really want would prefer battery! Any recommendations??

A lot of baby monitors have a built in thermometer. We have an angelcare & a BT monitor & they both have a thermometer so worth checking what your monitor has if you have one.

I bought some normal digital thermometers with a stand for £4 each from ebay. They give you the humidity level as well! I have one in each room the baby will be. I don't understand why we need a special baby thermometer, any would do, no?
