Trapped wind

First of all does anyone know if trapped wind is common in early pregnancy? I had something similar in my first pregnancy but it's too early to test just now. Although I had something similar in my first pregnancy it is quite different. In my first pregnancy I would get extreme pain through the night on and off but only through the night. This time I am getting it at any time and it's lasting a lot longer. This is the worst.

Also, any tips to get rid of it?!

I have had that too but I have Crohn's so it's not that unusual for me. I am an expert at getting rid of it though! If you are at home lying on you side and putting your knees up to your chest helps as it straightens the bowel out. Alternatively kneel down and put your head on the floor so you are in a foetal type position, that also helps. Neither are easy if you're at work though!

Do the lying with your knees up but also drink boiled water 2 cups usually shifts mine i have dodgy bowels and the trapped wind is awful.

Yes, I get it all the time when pregnant from about six or so weeks onwards.

OK, I wouldn't be as far as that so it's possibly hot pregnancy symptoms I'm experiencing. Thank you.
