Feeling fed up now

I am currently 38+6 and have got to he stage where I just want this pregnancy to be over and done with and to hopefully have a healthy new addition to our family.

Today I discovered the wonderment of piles, not to mention I can barely walk with sciatic pain on my right side. Plus I’m still being sick and suffering from horrendous heartburn to boot.

I guess sometimes we all need a moan 🙈 hope everyone is doing ok and Flowers for anyone who is feeling just like me. Thanks for listening Smile

See, until recently, I didn't realise women were sick during Labour or even this far along despite HG running in the family... and I'd never had heartburn before. Not experienced piles though so I guess that's something to look forward to...
33 weeks here and I've been fed up since I found out... so close... so close...

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 00:01

Aww Deaddoorpost, the things we have to do and while I know in the end it will all be so so worth it... it’s bloody hard work! I’m exhausted with getting such little sleep as well and I just hope in he next 3-4 weeks tops I will be bringing my little bundle of joy home and all these problems will be a thing of the past but it’s draining.

I’m currently propped up on 4 pillows hoping the heartburn will give me a rest for the night now.

Hope your doing ok x

Currently ignoring the pain in my hip that I should probably be sorting out but I cba to move. The problem I have is that it'll get to about now and I'll be trying to sleep but I'll be hungry... and if I don't eat I'll feel sick and then be sick if I continue to ignore it.
I've got 5-9 weeks to go... but I've been able to sleep at least. The only blessing I've had minus the clear skin
Hope you get a rest from the heartburn. It's a real pain.

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 00:15

Aww I feel for you! I just hope that when baby arrives for both of us that all goes back to normal Smile fingers crossed the next few weeks go in quick for both of us! Good luck and make the most of your sleep while you can Wink x

Literally found my people! 36+6 and sat in bed trying not to cry from the braxton hicks and pain in my hips and legs.

Although I got a prescription for renitidine this week for my heartburn and that stuff is magic.

But yeah definitely ready for this to be over!

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 09:59

I haven’t felt too many BHs yet, though when I do they give me the taste of what’s to come Shock lol.

MotherofBeagles, did ur go prescribe or can you buy that miracle stuff as it sounds like I need some?! I have heartburn so bad to the point where t makes me sick 🙈 just horrible!

We are all almost there now!x

I'd heard about it and asked the GP several times and they kept fobbing me off. Then when I went to see the obs for a check up (I'm high risk) and I've only gained 2kg since the start of my pregnancy they were worried and asked why. So I just explained I can't eat from the pain and she prescribed me enough to last to the end of my pregnancy. If I ever get pregnant again I'm just walking straight to the GP and demanding it!

dinosaurkisses · 04/10/2017 13:05

You can get 75g Ranitidine from Boots off the shelf- Gaviscon have one called Gavilast (I think) which is great.

Just make sure you send your DP in for it- last time I got it they were fine to sell it to me, but the first time I tried to buy it they said it wasn't licensed for pregnant women and wouldn't sell it without a prescription- Doctor was happy to provide one but it was a bit of a faff!

ethelfleda · 04/10/2017 15:58

34+3 here and my god - the third trimester is a whole different ball game!!
I breaded through the second like I wasn't even pregnant!
Now - I have near constant trapped nerves in my ribs and in my back, I have absolutely no energy (very unusal for me) constipated and pissed off. And to top it off, the reflux has gotten so bad that I woke up actually choking last night. As in I couldn't breathe for about 20 seconds!!
I need to lie down to make the horrific back pain go but then sit up to stop the heartburn!!
I'm sure it will all be worth it though!!!

ethelfleda · 04/10/2017 16:00

*breezed not breaded!!

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 16:32

I’m taking notes to try and buy something from Boots tomorrow- thanks for the heads up :)

I agree the third trimester is something else, I had been relatively good throughout the rest but I definitely will be thanksful when it’s all over and I doubt I’ll be rushing back for number 2 😂

Can I join :) I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and I'm over it now. My mood has really dropped and I'm so tired. I went to yoga last night to try and bring something on but nothing. I'm so heavy and struggling to drive and walk so it's not even like I can get out and about Sad X

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 17:36

Hi dede, I know exactly where your coming from. It’s hard but we are almost there :) I walked/hobbled ikea today in the hope that it would bring something on also but all it’s done is aggregate my hip pain even more and exhaust me. If anything I’m hoping I will sleep tonight but no doubt that will be wishful thinking!

dede124 · 04/10/2017 17:40

I know the feeling. Whenever I'm stood up or walking for too long I feel like my insides are going to drop out. Have you started symptom spotting for labour yet? Lol every little twinge or feeling I'm hoping it's starting. Yep not long Smilex

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 18:26

Yeah I’ve somehow managed to not put much weight on except for my baby bump as such so I just feel so heavy at the front and it kills me even more as I’ve started getting pains underbump when I having been moving about too much.

Yesterday I had what I can only describe as the sorest BH I’ve felt, it literally took my breath away.... I haven’t had anything since unfortunately 🙈 I guess I don’t know what I’m really expecting either which is the odd thing so I’m kinda hoping it will hurry up and come over me x

OP posts:
Cracklesfire · 04/10/2017 18:40

Oh no don't. I'm 11 weeks with 2nd and I've blocked out the heartburn and reflux I had at the end, the excruciating pain I had under my ribs if I sat down for more than 2 minutes and the horrendous varicose veins. The 42 week waddle and the vomiting in labour Shock is all coming flooding back!

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 18:54

Sorry Cracklesfire 🙊 that pretty much sounds like everything I know so far but you never know things might be different for you this time around 😜

Cracklesfire · 04/10/2017 19:02

I'll start stocking up on gaviscon now! It's such a beautiful time Grin

Cracklesfire · 04/10/2017 19:05

Just remembered the back to back UTIs as well. Although I haven't vomited in a Wilkos car park yet in full view of a bunch of white van men so maybe this pregnancy will be better

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 19:13

Lol here’s hoping!! Good luck with your pregnancy, fingers crossed it will go as smoothly as possible x

38+4 here and so over it. I was supposed to be induced this week due to growth tailing off, polyhydramnios and reduced movement, then lo and behold at my scan last week he'd grown well, fluid had returned to normal and I'd had good movement so they scrapped my induction plans. Ds was a week overdue so I'm expecting similar this time.

I am sick of being so breathless from the easiest of tasks and just aching all over. Not to mention the heartburn and being kicked in the ribs and the spd. I just need piles now to complete the set!

cazzy80 · 04/10/2017 23:13

I’m sure you were gutted with he change of plans but at least your wee one is doing well Smile pregnancy really isn’t the most glamorous thing in the world for most of us, I’m envious of ladies who seem to breeze through with no issues but the main thing is we get our bundles of joy at the end and hopefully all these problems are a thing of he past Wink
