Has anyone used a birthing ball and far into the pregnancy did you start using it?

I had one i used it late in pregnancy but only literally 3-4 times then not used so in fairness not fully worth it however they are cheap!

I used mine a lot, especially when overdue and in early labour. Still use it now to get DD to sleep!

rachrach2 · 03/10/2017 21:16

Started using about 30 weeks with my first and earlier with my second. Used it in labour with both too. Wouldn’t have been without it!

I used mine throughout pregnancy a lot! I went to pregnancy yoga and learnt how to use it for different relaxing positions and to ease pressure

Hi I used one lots in third trimester to ease pressure on my lower back. I also used it a fair bit once labour got really going, the bouncing took my mind off the contractions.

I used one in earlyish labour

Shrimpie · 04/10/2017 07:00

Would you say most people use it in the third trimester then, but you can you it in the second if it makes you feel more comfortable?
