7 or 8 weeks pregnant, bleeding for past 6 days

Hi everyone!

I'm an avid mumsnet reader but this is my first time posting so I probably won't get all/any of the abbreviations right!

I found out I was pregnant with our 2nd (1st is 3) nearly 4 weeks ago now and believe I am 7+6 weeks pregnant based on the 1st day of last period.

TMI Alert:
Last Thursday I woke up with brown blood/discharge in my PJ's and when I wiped, a couple of hours later this had turned to red. It has been like this for 6 days now, red, small clots, only really when I wipe, a bit on the pad but not a lot and mild period pain.

I went for a scan last Thursday when it started but only a sac could be seen - nothing in it so have to go back in 2 weeks as they said it is too early to tell if anything has happened or not yet.

The wait is driving me crazy! So just wondered if anybody else is going through the same or has been and what the result was?

I have everything crossed but can't help thinking the worst is going to happen :(

Hi daizy, I am also going through the same thing (almost identical except this is my first) so you are not alone! I have a repeat scan tomorrow and I am hoping for good news - also thought I was nearly 8 weeks but then the sac was very small and empty so either I have got my dates wrong or it's not good. Guess I will find out tomorrow!!!

Yeah I think if all is well in the end I'm gonna actually be fewer weeks than I think I am.
