Cramping during 7th week

Hello everyone,

Just hoping someone could give me some advice. I am currently 7 weeks pregnant with my first child, I am 24 years old and extremely excited for this amazing gift I have been given!

The past few days I have been dealing with rather unpleasant cramping however there has been no blood. I am hoping that this is just normal as I have already been to the doctor so and they said they can’t tell me much until I meet the midwife at 10 weeks however they seem to think everything is fine.

Any help or advise would be great, I am very new to this and don’t want to spend all my time worrying so much that there might be something wrong!

Xx

This is totally normal, I had it for weeks at the start and same as you I felt really worried about it. It's just the beginning of the many changes and quirky symptoms to come!

Yeah I had this frequently until about 16 weeks x

Very very normal. It's your uterus stretching. Felt like I was about to start my AF for weeks but it was just baby growing.
