Bv in pregnancy?

Has anyone had this ? I've had BV about a year ago and it cleared up with antibiotics . I've been having symptoms for about 6 weeks now and had a swab done last week from the midwife but the results have come back today saying everything is normal ? Has anyone had bv not show up on a swab test? This sounds really crude but I'm hygienic and shower everyday and I still really smell down there . It's really embarrassing

Hello. Mine was the opposite, I had this during pregnancy, but it was picked up on routine swabs, after I went in for a check up due to a small bleed. I think i was 23 weeks at the time.

I received a letter a week or so later to inform me, asking me to contact Dr.
They prescribed me antibiotics to treat it, even though I didn’t have any actual symptoms. There is a chance that BV can cause premature birth if untreated.

Thanks for replying ! I'm only 16 weeks , I'm seeing a consultant next week so will probably ask then if it's possible not to show up . I'm certain it's BV again but my partner says he can't really smell anything !
