Hi, I am 37+5 weeks pregnant. My mum was over visiting today and after she left I realised she had left her phone on the table. Without thinking, I grabbed it and ran to the end of my street to try and catch her but just saw the back of her car disappear. I'm now really worried that I shouldn't have ran like that and I'm worried I could have done something to harm the baby 😥. Can anyone reassure me? Thanks

I think the only impact that would have is that it would encourage labour!

Honestly, it’ll be fine. Humans were designed to be able to do this.

I think you're absolutely fine. I worry about everything as well it's exhausting! Baby moving about will calm you no?

MagicFajita · 02/10/2017 18:45

I'm just thinking how blessed you are to be able to run...38 weeks and I waddle.

KalaLaka · 02/10/2017 18:46

There's no problem at all, don't worry.

I work in emergency setting. At 36 weeks pregnant and on 'light duties' the emergency call alarm went off and without thinking I went into autopilot and started running with gusto. I realised fairly quickly why I was on light duties and had to sit down Grin

DS was absolutely fine. Did nothing to cause labour I can assure you!

Thanks everyone, that makes me feel a little better. Feel like the closer I'm getting to the end the worse my worrying is becoming! Hopefully everything is fine and he or she will move around as usual later on xxx
