Omg. I'm such an organised person and we've said we're not finding out. But then I say oh shall we.? And dps like noo let it be a Suprise.. Then I say oh but we could and he says go on then... And a bit later I'll say really and he's like noo lol
It would be lovely for a Suprise but I keep looking at nubs and quite honestly I'm dim and have no idea what I'm looking at lol..
I have 3 weeks to decide if want a definite answer or fun guessing.
Don't help my Bro and sil are due a week before and they're finding out.. Which will make me even more on the fence
I've added pics for guesses

My DH really didn't want to find out the sex and I spent the first 35 weeks of pregnancy desperately wanting to know! I'm now due this weekend and have to say despite my many, many hours spent agonising over not finding out I'm actually really glad we haven't. It's given me something to get excited about in labour and I think it will help me to focus in labour as it being the means to getting our surprise! The only thing that's been a bit harder is having to come up with double the names, but we've had no issues decorating the nursery in neutral colours and getting non-gender specific clothing so I still feel like I've been able to get organised if that makes sense?

Up to you OP but I've really surprised myself with how happy I am to not have found out, and also you can technically find out at any time throughout the rest of pregnancy, not just maybe at the anomaly scan. (we've had to have a lot of extra scans in the last trimester and frequently been told not to look at the screen!) or you can always get a private scan at a later date rather than feeling pressured into making a decision any time soon?

I'm feeling the same I'm 15 weeks and iv only got the next few weeks to find out and I'm not sure, This is my 3rd child and I never found out with my other two children but I really wanna find out this time round, so I can maybe start buying things earlier and Ararat preparing te nursery to suit boy/girl and start buying boy/girl things, but at the same time I'm like ohh shall I just wait and have a suprise again ? Lol. @mum2oneds I think it looks like a boy the skull and the nub for sure! X

Mum2oneds · 02/10/2017 18:21

I think as sil is finding out ( mainly as they have loads of girl stuff already so would either mean buying new if a boy and selling the stuff they have or not needing to replace much.. So understandable)
Im just so on the fence. I didn't find out with DS.. But he wasn't in a good position and they couldn't tell..
I wont be having a nursery it will be in with us till whenever then in with DS as only a 2 bed. And don't want to move If can help it as love my place.
Apart from outfits. I only buy white socks, vests muslins etc as I'm not a fan of colours.. Our room is neutral so would get neutral bedding anyway..

PS thanks for the guess.

I have a boy already and dp has a girl. And although he'd love a boy he is convinced a girl.. But don't hey me wrong he's not fussed it's just a man thing lol.
I don't know why I'm convinced it's a boy other than I've gone off the amoof Choc I used to eat lol.

I think its a boy, there is some elements that can suggest this, but who knows 😉 One of my friends was trying for months to get the gender of her baby, the little one was "shy" and crossleged so no one was the wiser until he was born. She still feels the frustration thinking back to those days 😁

Had my 20wk scan today and never and my OH have always said we wanted a surprise, but today we said sod it let’s do it..... and the cord was blocking the view! So it wasn’t meant to be! I’d be so worried they might have got it wrong!!

Saz626 · 02/10/2017 20:33

Ohh op I've got my 20 week scan tomorrow and still not decided whether to find out or not!!

flutterby12 · 02/10/2017 20:59

I think girl. We found out at our 20 week scan, had always planned on doing so. As soon as she put the probe on me I spotted his bits so when she asked did we want to know I said 'I've already seen it!'

Didn't stop me having another scan at 28 weeks. Did this because I'm a HV and I had two mum's on my caseload told they were having one and they were born the opposite! So, I was a bit stressed having decorated the nursery all blue.

I would find out next time too 😊 I loved knowing the sex, made me refer to bump as him.
