Hello mums and mums to be,
I am 11 weeks pregnant and wanted to know how far gone other ladies have been before they feel their baby move? I know every pregnancy is different, However I'm intrigued Smile

I didn't feel mine until almost 22 weeks

I first felt flutterings at 16 weeks which surprised me. I’ve heard for FTMs it’s usually around 20 weeks however I’m now 20+3 and my belly is visibly moving when baby is really going for it. I think maybe it depends on how slim you are? Not sure though!

19 weeks for me, first pregnancy.

It can depend where your placenta is also :)

Kittykat93 · 02/10/2017 13:32

Mine was around 16 weeks and that was sort of popping feelings and light flutters (almost like wind) Grin

Bazinga1234 · 02/10/2017 13:37

I was 20 weeks with my first, 21 weeks with my second.. but that was feeling an actual kick. I can't remember when I first felt little bumps.

But I'm 13 weeks with my third now and I've been noticing the odd light bump here and there when I'm sitting still.

This baby is very energetic compared to my other two based on the 12 week scans.. plus I'm more in tuned to the feeling now.

About 17 weeks. It feels more like trapped wind than butterflies though! It's too low down in your abdomen to be reminiscent of butterflies. I used to feel him late at night when I'd lie in bed and have time to relax and really concentrate on feeling him

MontyPants · 02/10/2017 13:41

Around 16-17 weeks I feel these little tickles that I've never felt before. The way I described them, people kept telling me it was the baby. Started to feel light kicks around 20 weeks and now at almost 32 weeks it's pretty constant movement including baby turning around and sticking his bum out so I get a lump appearing under my skin.

I was about 19 weeks with my first before I felt movement and then 15 weeks with my second.

TheCatsMother99 · 02/10/2017 13:57

About 16 weeks. They were so light though at first.

YouBoggleMyMind · 02/10/2017 14:09

18 weeks, first time mum, posterior placenta x

AccrualIntentions · 02/10/2017 14:10

Over 20 weeks but I have an anterior placenta.

tummytomummy · 02/10/2017 15:06

Thanks everyone! I've felt different things going on in my belly but not sure I can put them down to being anything in particular. I'm excited thoughGrin

Flutters at 18 weeks and proper kicks at 22.

Waitingonasmile · 02/10/2017 15:14

17 weeks

CL1982 · 02/10/2017 18:26

Still nothing at 19 weeks!!! I think 20-22 for FTMS is totally normal. Some don't feel it until 24 weeks.... 😵
