If you had the same kind of pregnancy second time round, did you have a different sex baby?!

I'm just curious really. Believe it or not I dont want to know the sex and won't be finding out.
But first time around I had very few symtoms and sailed through.
This time I'm 10 weeks and feel very much the same. Does this mean it's likely to be the same sex ? (Which was a boy)

My pregnancy is utterly different this time around but I'm having the same sex baby. I guess it's impossible to tell!

Second pregnancy I was sick (as in vomiting) at least once a day for most of the time, whereas with my first I only felt nauseaus but didn't vomit much. First was a boy, second girl! Also felt much more tired and generally shit, and had loads of cramps for a month or two before my second was born (but that could all be put down to having a toddler to run around after!).

Very similar pregnancies so far, no sickness, similar cravings. Found out at the 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago they we're having a second girl.

I have a boy and a girl, pregnancies were very different.

opheliacat · 01/10/2017 22:47

All my pregnancies have been the same awful and I have a mix!

Dogsmom · 01/10/2017 22:54

I had completely different pregnancies, polar opposites in every way and have 2 girls.

Cantstanddisney · 01/10/2017 22:58

I had (from hazy, hormone-obscured memory) identical pregnancies, and have 2 of the same. I do remember thinking being fairly confident on the gender second time around because of this (and didn't find out during pregnancy), and totally smug when I was correct. 50/50 chance though Grin

I've had 3, one girl two boys easy pregnancy 1st time second first boy was horrific third baby another boy same as the first easy,

Middle child I craved chocolate and pancakes

1&3 I wanted savoury was really shocked he was a boy was convinced it was another girl 😂

I think none are the same regardless of sex but that's just me x

Two very different pregnancies and I have two girls!

skankingpiglet · 01/10/2017 23:40

Two similar pregnancies and two girls here Smile

OrangeJulius · 02/10/2017 00:05

Two similiar pregnancies, girl then boy.

DeadDoorpost · 02/10/2017 00:07

MiL had 8 pregnancies all the Same, all turned out to be boys. Only one that was different was a girl.
Also had a friend who's mum had 4 pregnancies, and the 3 boys were all the same but the girl was different again.
And yet they seem to be the only examples I know of. Everyone else I know has had a range of different experiences with both.

I have a boy and a girl, both pregnancies were the same.
We didn’t find out the sex either - much more exciting!

Enterthedragons · 02/10/2017 00:39

Pretty much the same symptoms for all 3 pregnancies. Found all food repulsive to shop for/look at/cook for the first 20 weeks. Utter utter exhaustion. Feeling horribly nauseous but not much ACTUAL throwing up. I looked like shit the entire 9 months.'

I have 3 girls. They do say morning sickness is worse with girls and they 'steal your beauty.' Certainly did for me! But I've never been pregnant with a boy to know if it would feel easier. My MIL who has both says no and that MS was just as bad with boys. (But then she didn't know she was pregnant with DS1 for the first 4 months so I'm not sure that is true). There is no way on this earth I wouldn't have known. Felt like I was either pregnant or dying!

ChocolatePancake · 02/10/2017 00:42

My pregnancies were polar opposites and they were both boys. Couldn't have been more different
