Hi,
I'm new to mumsnet, think it's great and very reassuring that mums are going through the same sort of things and can relate which helps. I'm 7weeks + 2days today. From the NHS calculator think I may be due around the 19th May if my workings out are correct. Got the midwife on the 10th October( which can't come quick enough) so will know more then.
Would love to know when your due, how you have been feeling. Also to keep in touch to share our experiences together! xx☺️

Hi, posted on the May thread. Also due on 19 May! Yet to hear re my midwife appointment but have 12 week scan on 6 November. I had a miscarriage in July, which was awful so really nervous this time round...

Aww how lovely, Congratulations lovely. Yes I was suppose to be booked it the 6 but unfortunately couldn't get the time off work so I'm going the 10th to the midwife. It's hard not to be nervous I think.. I mean I think until you see your baby on the screen you are bound to worry but I'm sure all is ok. ☺️ xx

Hi MummyToASassy4yrOld

I have just got a BFP after a miscarriage in July, I havent had a cycle since my MC so cant really date it BUT i know roughly when it could of happened and thinking im due around 30/05/18.

Personally although a BFP is exactly what we wanted, i am finding it hard to feel too excited as im so nervous and want the next few weeks to fly by and for everything to be OK.

I new i was pregnant because of my sore boobs, indigestion every now and then which i never usually get and the ability to cry at nothing!! iv never wished for all of these things to keep coming but this time around i really am haha.

i know we all want to get to the 12 weeks mark so for all our sake i hope this is going to be the quickest October known to man!

Hi LJFM2B

Yer it's so hard the first trimester!! I think I had it easy with my first as can't ever remember being this bad. The nausea is awful, boobs are killing. Pain in groin is annoying. But it will be totally worth it in November!! 4 weeks and counting!! xx

hiya,
I am due on the 21st May 2018 and I had my midwife appointment yesterday. I am 7 weeks and 3 days today and this is my first baby. I am still shocked how many ways there are to die in childbirth. Apparently I am at risk of pre-eclampsia and need to see a consultant. I really would like to be happy about being pregnant but with feeling completely under the weather and the appointment yesterday I am just soooo scared and absolutely terrified. Is anyone else so scared like I am? :(

LJFM2B · 04/10/2017 09:42

sunflower324 Congratulations

how comes your at risk? did they give an explination?, as if these early stages aren't worrying enough!

Im still unsure of my DD but iv roughly worked out that im between 5-6 weeks so due end of may or first few days in june!

want these weeks to flash by

Hi LJFM2B,
I know, early days are so worrying when it comes to being pregnant - and the time does not by quickly either. Congratulations on your BFP! :) Positive thoughts and lots of snacks around once the morning sickness kicks in. I will keep my fingers crossed until I hit week 13 as we all do.

I had been medicated for a few years for high blood pressure in my 20ties (inherited from family) and with it being my first pregnancy - I already have 1 high risk factor and 1 moderate risk factor allocated to me although I have been off this medication for over 3 years now as it wasnt needed anymore (now 33 y old) - they still want me to take 75 mg aspiring as of the 12th week and after.

I am not worried about that taking aspirin but just in general - my midwife was explaining everything saying everything is optional but yeah if you don't do it you might die - I am so not happy... still trying to figure out if I am being overly sensitive...

LJFM2B · 04/10/2017 11:04

Your pregnant - of course your feeling sensitive, but the doctors and midwives should know this too and should have some compassion when it comes to these things - but i think if it was going to be harmful they wouldnt suggest doing it - so keep yourself safe!!

me and DH are usually so so busy during the weekends so it always goes so quick but by complete fluke weve had some plans cancelled and now the next 2 weekends are completely free which id usually welcome as a nice long relaxing weekend but these next few i want to fly by.

I havent felt any sickness yet, slightly hoping to avoid but ill roll with what ever punches are thrown what ever will keep me and bubba safe
