Hey mums!
So I sent off for income support last weekend and on Wednesday received a payment of £82.
I've just got my letter saying from the 21st September I will be entitled to £57 a week paid fortnightly on a Wednesday.
I'm just confused as to why I got a random pay of £82 and when my next payment will be?

You will be paid fortnightly on the same day (dictated by your national insurance number). I suspect you received an initial reduced payment because you were not being paid for the usual 2 weeks (will be dependent on your date of claim and whether waiting days applied).Presuming you are under 25 (so weekly award is £57.90) your next payment will be the full £115.80. You should then receive it 2 weeks after the £82 i.e Oct 11th (if last paid on Weds).
