Hello,

Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for the last eight months. As my periods can be a bit irregular every month can be considered a bit nerve wrecking.
This month I am on day 34 of my cycle even they usually don't last longer than 30-31 days. I have therefore tried a few pregnancy tests, hoping that this time everything has worked. I tried to do an ovulation test this month, however by the time I ran out of tests I hadn't reached peak fertility, I however did have high fertility results two for a week and the last I took a week ago.
I keep on seeing an extremely faint line when take the pregnancy tests now, however my boyfriend doesn't see this so I am wondering if I am imagining it. I've had a few symptoms already however I am afraid I am just going to end with my period instead.
Has anyone been in the same situation and have your tests become clearer later on?

I've not been in this situation but if I was you I'd leave it a few more days. If your period still hasn't arrived then test again, using your first wee of the day Smile preferably with a pink dye test, they tend to give a clearer reading.

OP. If I can give you any advice try not to pay attention to symptom spotting in the 2ww. Unfortunately pregnancy and periods are very similar. Try to relax then do a test the day or two before your period with a FRER.

I spent 11 months obsessing before my first BFP and I worked myself up so much. Just try to let your body do what it's doing and avoid Google. Realistically assuming you ovulate when you do (you won't know unless you are temping/tracking) it takes 2-3 days for the (assumed) fertilised egg to get down the tube, 1-2 days dithering in the womb then another 2-4 days to implant and THEN you'll pick up HCG and only with a sensitive test. Science says you CAN'T feel implantation (many women say they can and I think it's anecdotal or co-incidence) so you just need to stay calm, be positive and keep the hope up. But sadly I know now that 'symptoms' are a load of guff especially having had 4 pregnancies!!

Fx!!
