Bavaria beer?

I've been craving a pint of lager for the last 12 weeks. I've wanted nothing but an ice cold pint. I haven't because I'm too cautious and wouldn't want any harm coming to baby. Just done my Tesco shop and spotted the bavaria 0.0% alcohol free beer... Stupid question but is it OK? Or has anyone had it? I'm scared of it not really being alcohol free...i know I am a big worry wart!

Far as I am aware it’s all fine - I’ve had quite a few non alcoholic beers although not the Bavaria one

I had a few of these and also some becks blue during pregnancy and my daughter seems fine!! You'll probably only want a bit of it just to satisfy the craving. Go for it!

Of course it's fine! Also, one actual beer will be fine. The best non alcohol beer is becks blue in my opinion.

If you like fruit cider the alcohol free mixed berry kopperberg is as good as the real thing! Becks blue also not bad.

Brewdog Nanny state beer is really nice

Erdinger alcohol free is the nicest I think. Tastes like the real thing.

Becks Blue is alright. Koppalberg 0% strawberry and lime cider helped get me through summer.

Don't try alcohol free wine. It's gross 🤢

Erdinger is lovely and is an ISOTONIC HEALTH DRINK .

Not keen on erdinger. Marks and Spencer's Czech low alcohol lager (0.5%) is the best lager I've found. Brewdog nanny state best ale. There are no acceptable low alcohol wines!

Thanks everyone for your responses and recommendations! I'll give the others a try too. The bavaria is currently chilling in the fridge, think I'll even put it in the freezer for ten minutes to be sure it's ice cold... I'm so excited I hope it doesn't disappoint now haha

Becks blue every time.

If you're going alcohol free, I'd recommend Becks Blue. I haven't found anything else that actually tastes like beer.

I actually find Becks Blue the worst of the lot, a really gross chemical aftertaste. Heineken and Nanny State are my favourites.

Yes, it's really nice. It's one of the few non-alcoholic beers that actually tastes like what it's supposed to taste like. I don't tend to drink beer (usually drink wine or a vodka and soda), but it was nice. But really don't stress about it and enjoy. There is lots of evidence to show that there's little negative effect of even drinking the occasional drink in moderation in pregnancy, as long as you aren't getting drunk or doing it every day all the time. I had a glass of prosecco when we went out for date night at 12 weeks and I had a single gin and tonic to celebrate with work colleagues at around 18 weeks. It was lovely and I felt like a real grown up. I did the same when I was pregnant with my first on special occasions and it was really nice.

I may have to give it a go - I'm one of the few that cannot stand Becks Blue! It's awful, and regardless of how many times I try to convince myself it's just beer, it doesn't work haha!
