Bleeding everyday for 6 weeks

Hi all, I am 10 weeks pregnant with my third child. The first two pregnancies I had some spotting but this time I am spotting/bleeding everyday! I have had three scans at 6, 7 and 8 weeks and baby is growing perfectly and the heart beat is nice and strong. The EPAC nurses keep saying "It's just one of those things. Some ladies bleed throughout their pregnancies". Some days I cope really well and stay calm and positive but other days I feel a bit anxious.... like today! Fourth reassurance scan is booked tomorrow. If anyone has had any similar experience I would love to know.

Hi,
I’m in a similar situation, 9 weeks 3 days now and have had daily spotting since 6 weeks so I know how stressful and worrying it is!
I have hd two scans at 6 & 8 weeks and baby is fine and no reason found for my spotting.
Like you some days I’m not too phased by it but when there is more or it changes colour I freak out! They said the same to me that some ladies can bleed with no reason for however long! As long as mine stays like it is I’m waiting for my 12 week scan in 3 weeks.
Hope the scan goes well tomorrow :)

Congratulations Blessed! I started bleeding at 10 weeks and it continued as spotting with mild cramping for 5 weeks. They gave me various scans and could never find a reason for it. It stopped eventually and DD is now 8 months old. This came on the back of 2 miscarriages so I really understand your worry. Try to verbally drown out the worrying thoughts - I used to quietly chant "baby is going to be fine, baby is going to be fine" to calm myself down. Best of luck!

If it helps at all - with my first pregnancy, I had regular bleeding throughout - every other day or so iirc. The early pregnancy unit suggested after my third scan I think that I didn't come back again unless the bleeding was 'unusual for me'... (or to put it another way, shove off, there's a dear) My ds is now 13 and perfectly healthy - he did arrive 4 weeks early, but no issues otherwise. It was a scary time - I never relaxed into the pregnancy really. Fwiw, I bled in my second pregnancy too, but not as much, and I was able to be MUCH more relaxed about the whole thing!

I was diagnosed with cervical erosion (common; esp in pregnancy; and no implications other than the bleeding) - but not until 1 day before I gave birth! It;s only really diagnosable via cervial examination though.

Have you been told that you have a sub chorionic haematoma? I bled heavily from weeks 6-11 of pregnancy due to this. Was terrified as had 3 previous MC. Bleeding suddenly stopped at 11 weeks . Became a very regular visitor of the EPU. Wishing you all the best

I had a few heavy bleeds in my first pregnancy and I bled non-stop from 5-12 weeks in my second pregnancy. No cause was ever found and both pregnancies resulted in healthy babies. It's naturally worrying when it happens to you OP but it is seemingly normal for a lot of pregnant women.

I bled throughout my first pregnancy. Found out at the anomaly scan that it was placenta praevia aka low lying placenta causing it. I don't think they'll check the placenta that early though.
