Normal to feel normal?!

Hi all,

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant. About 2 weeks ago I was getting lots of trapped wind that was waking me at night, but since then I just feel completely normal. Maybe a little more tired than normal but no sickness, not even a wiff of nausea.

Is this normal?

When did everyone else get symptoms?

Should I just be pleased that I feel ok at the moment?

Thanks x

There is normal really. It depends on the person, the pregnancy.... it's early days for you, there's plenty of things e to feel horrific!

LikeTheShoes · 27/09/2017 21:35

I went from feeling totally normal to not being able to stop retching in less than a day at week 7. I wouldn't worry unless you have other symptoms. (There is a mum on here who didn't know she was pregnant until the baby appeared!)

With both my pregnancies I started feeling sick and tired around 8 weeks and it lasted until about 14 weeks.

DeadDoorpost · 27/09/2017 21:53

MiL had no symptoms for 7 of her pregnancies except missing her period and then feeling bit more tired than usual into her 3rd trimester. Some women are just lucky. The other pregnancy hiwever she was very sick and didn't realise she was pregnant as it was not usual for her.
If I were you I'd enjoy it while you can. You may start to develop some, you might not.
As for myself the major vomiting that ended up being Hyperemesis was a huge symptom... but apart from that and the tiredness I've not really had much else. No sore boobs, nothing. Not even cravings. Everyone is different

Totally normal! I had nothing for quite a while and then just some mild nausea. Just counted myself v v lucky!

IfeelFloopy · 27/09/2017 22:14

I'm nearly 10 weeks. Only a little more tired. No nausea. Only slightly more sensitive boobs. I'm counting myself lucky so far!

I had a scan at 6+4 because I was worried to feel so normal and all was well.

MrsMcW · 27/09/2017 22:17

I had no symptoms at 6 weeks. I started feeling mildly nauseous around 7/8 weeks, but not really rotten until about 10, and even then it was more the exhaustion than morning sickness! All totally normal, enjoy it while it lasts. Smile

It's still early days, I've gone from feeing fine to utterly exhausted and yukky in a couple of days. I'm 7+4 and it started just after 7 weeks. With my DD I didn't feel bad at all, I was just lucky.

Ohwell14 · 27/09/2017 22:18

I felt this all the way through my pregnancy, cue constant panic that I wasn't pregnant even when I had a huge bump. I constantly told my midwife but all she said was that I should be happy to have no bad symptoms. Except for a few weeks of exhaustion from week 8 to 10 I felt great for the rest of the time Grin
Good luck with your pregnancy
(Midwife also told me to never tell another pregnant woman how good I felt when I was pregnant)

annlee3817 · 27/09/2017 22:45

I didn't really have symptoms. Started getting sore boobs on and off from around 8 weeks, nausea was brief and went as soon as I stopped taking pregnacare as it didn't agree with me, otherwise nothing. My DD is now 2, lack of symptoms isn't always a bad thing.

Yes be happy! I wondered why i never had any nausea & thought something was wrong. I've seen heartbeat twice now but every evening without fail i get nauseous especially from smells. Makes it so hard to eat
