Just Curious - How did your MS compare/contrast each time?

Just that really! First-time round with DD I had barely any MS, just exhaustion. This time it comes in cycles I'm sick as a dog for days and then absolutely fine for days! Currently 8+4 and convinced it's either twins or a boy since it's so different from last time. Grin

Just curious to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing really!

First pregnancy had mild sickness and was only sick in the morning. Second pregnancy I was a million times worse and sick throughout the day and had all day nausea. Both are boys!

First pregnancy I had mild nausea in the first trimester only which came in small waves & usually went away when I ate or drank something with ginger in it. went away after week 12/13. This time round I had much more severe nausea in the first trimester, pretty much 24/7, which has lessened a bit but never really gone away, I'm 35 weeks now & still getting bouts of it. Ginger has helped but not as quickly & completely as it did in my first pregnancy. Both girls (according to my scan anyway!).

First pregnancy throwing up a lot morning and night. Dreadful dizziness too. A boy
Second - not much vomiting but constant nausea and feeling like I was dying from the worst hangover ever. A girl
Third (34 weeks now) - feeling like I did with my daughter until five and a half months then it stopped. Vomiting again from 30 weeks. Another boy.

Basically all over the shop

My eldest son, I was extremely ill, couldn't move my head off my pillow without going dizzy, vomiting, piercing headaches etc... my youngest son, I was slightly nauseous but nothing too bad really, I don't think I was ever sick at all. Had headaches but not as bad.
This time (no idea on sex) I'm only 6 weeks but my boobs are hurting far more than they did in those two pregnancies. No morning sickness (yet), just a lack of appetite

As a little update - it's a boy! Smile

First pregnancy - a small bit of nausea from 8-12 weeks.

Second pregnancy - nausea from 5 to 19 weeks and a lot more actual puking.

Two boys.

Congrats!

First pregnancy was a boy, I only had a bit of sickness here and there, quite manageable. This pregnancy, sick as a dog every day from week 6, joked to DH that there must be 2 in there, it's twin girls!!

Henryandfriends · 12/12/2017 11:33

First no sickness - a boy
second - a little nausea from 6-10 weeks - a girl

Absolutely nothing. Which is pretty lucky. I have a daughter but don't know what this one is yet.
