bakingmad83 · 28/10/2017 20:49

He's adorable! Can't wait to meet mine now :)

BellaMoon · 28/10/2017 21:15

aww George is an absolute cracker @Ohb0llocks congratulations again! we’ve got ourselves one of each flavour on our PMA Grads thread. CANNOT wait for the rest of the gang to join Olivia and George xxx

Moo31 · 28/10/2017 21:28

So cute! Welcome to the world little George!! Xo

Ohb0llocks · 28/10/2017 21:29

Thankyou! I adore him. All he has done is snuggle and sleep. He’s had a little go on both boobs, done his meconium, and a wee and he’s snoozing again. Hopefully he stays this way! Knowing my look as soon as I get settled on the ward he will be wiiiiiide awake.

DuRezidal · 29/10/2017 08:36

I keep getting a stabbing pain right down in my lower regions, the closest thing I can compare it to is a stitch???

bakingmad83 · 29/10/2017 09:02

Hope you managed to get some sleep Ohb0llocks :)

Is it fanny daggers or higher up than that DuRezidal?

Ohb0llocks · 29/10/2017 09:12

Stabby Fanny @DuRezidal ?

DuRezidal · 29/10/2017 13:11

Higher like under my hip bones

Roseandbee · 29/10/2017 16:02

Aww so sweet! Glad he’s doing well and love the name x

bakingmad83 · 29/10/2017 17:39

Wonder if your baby could be pressing on a nerve or your pelvis is loosening further in prep for delivery DuRezidal?

I'm thinking DD might have moved into a lower position. The last couple of days had a sensation of something bashing against my cervix when I'm walking and needing to wee a lot more frequently. Seem to remember I had this in the fortnight before DS arrived, though mw was convinced last time at 38 week appointment that labour was imminent and she wouldn't see me again. Seeing mw on Tuesday, so see what she reckons. Anyone else with appointments this coming week?

Roseandbee · 29/10/2017 20:48

Baking well this time it might be quicker as these pma babies don’t seem to like hanging around! Will be interesting to see what’s mw says. My next appointment is next week, more needlesConfused

bakingmad83 · 29/10/2017 21:18

Is it your 28 week appointment then Rose?

Has certainly encouraged me to write "instructions" for my parents for when they look after DS. They've only looked after him for a few hours in the day, not sure how they're going to find his 5am get ups and night wakings, but hopefully will just be for the one night if at all, and probs DS will be on his best behaviour to prove me wrong and sleep through!

Roseandbee · 29/10/2017 21:48

Yes although I’ll be 29, I’m going to have anti D injection, and is it bloods at 28 weeks aswell?
DS will probably be an angel and make you look like a liar lol

Moo31 · 29/10/2017 23:14

@DuR I had stitch like pains and mw told me they were normal as everything is stretching etc. Speak to your mw if you are still worried - they always put my mind at ease!!

@baking it sounds like dd could be the next pma baby to make an appearance!! Very exciting!!

We have FINALLY finished painting the nursery!! At 38+2 - I did not think I would be leaving it this late! Just cot to assemble and then lots of boxes to unpack can't wait to get properly sorted!!

Moo31 · 29/10/2017 23:16

@Rose I think I got bloods at 12 weeks and 30 weeks but might be different in England.

bakingmad83 · 30/10/2017 05:16

Yes Rose, at 28 weeks they check your blood count for iron.

Glad you're on your way to finishing your nursery Moo :) No real rush though, as guess your little one will be in with you for the first 6 months?

Tbh the sensation has now gone, but know subsequent babies can pop in and out of position, so DD may have just been teasing me :)

DuRezidal · 30/10/2017 10:38

All seems to have settled down now.

We managed to finish our nursery this weekend so we are finally ready at 38 weeks. I just have my bag to pack but got a really busy week this week so will try and get it done at some point.

We will put the baby in the nursery from 2 weeks like we did with our daughter. I have insomnia and it ended up me waking her up all the time when she was in with us.

Ohb0llocks · 31/10/2017 16:56

We’re home!

DS will be home from being quarantined at grandmas after their sickness bug in the morning. Can’t wait to see him. He will finally get to meet his little brother!

DuRezidal · 31/10/2017 18:02

I am currently being induced... midwife sent me to triage as the baby wasn’t growing much and was below 10th centile so came in for a growth scan and it’s exactly the same as my previous pregnancy in that I have hardly any liquor around the baby.

So induction is now in...

BellaMoon · 31/10/2017 19:34

aw fab news @Ohb0llocks how are you feeling? bet you’re bursting to introduce your two little men xx

how exciting @DuRezidal hope everything goes smoothly for you. keep us posted. super super exciting seeing all these babies arrive!

how’s every1 else doing?

bathroom in now @AmandaP86x ?

nursery finished @Moo31 ?

patiently waiting @bakingmad83 ?

nice and refreshed from your weekend away @Anna2006 ?

i’m fine, blood glucose definitely getting better from my readings so hope they agree at my weekly check up thurs morn. also growth scan on thurs so i’m excited to see my boy again 👶🏼💙 i’m hoping for average weight gain so he can stay where he is for another 5 weeks. 33 weeks tomorrow, hallelujah!

nursery furniture arrives next monday so i’m super excited about that too.

work is getting harder and harder to stay motivated but i only have to go another 13 times. yay woo hoo!

every1 commenting on how huge i look and i can’t even take offence, i feel full term with triplets i’ve popped soooo much. i’m sitting very high right now which does mean i have the dreaded stretch marks around my belly button, in all fairness, there’s like 2 that appeared over night so i’m not too stressed about them. i am like a slippery snake now covering myself in lotions and potions 2/3 times a day to try avoid anymore!

that’s all from me, hopefully i’ll get my section/induction date on thurs then the real countdown can begin xxx

OnNaturesCourse · 31/10/2017 19:49

Eugh, stopping by for a moan. Bump has dropped but grown all the same time. I'm so flipping tired and uncomfortable and whale like. Someone please take this kid out now, he or she is definitely cooked..they just need to locate the exit.

Ohb0llocks · 31/10/2017 20:02

@DuRezidal good luck!!

Is it proper you’ve had? I had it inserted at 9am Friday he was here by 7:23 Sat am.

I can’t WAIT to see my biggest boy!!

bakingmad83 · 31/10/2017 20:26

Great to hear you're home Ohb0llocks! Enjoy your first day tomorrow as a four :)

Good luck DuRezidal with your induction!

Glad to hear your blood glucose has improved Bella, hopefully all will be well at your growth scan and exciting you'll have date for induction/section then!

Hopefully not much longer for you now OnNaturesCourse :)

All was fine at midwife. Still measuring 3cm behind, but been that the last 3 times, so she's not worried. I was right about DD having moved down - reassuringly mw confirmed head down and now engaged, though only 3/5 (which confusingly means only 2/5 head in pelvis, not sure who came up with that way of reporting it!) - but doesn't sound like her arrival is imminent.

DuRezidal · 31/10/2017 21:00

Yes was a pessary in at 6pm... I guess it’s a wait and see now.
