just the 2 antenatal classes @Roseandbee and both done now. 2 hours each mind you! found them interesting but sitting down talking and listening for that long after a long day at work was a struggle. have a feeding class booked for 5th dec and that’s a wrap xx
my hospital bag is packed, as is baby’s. DH has a list of what he needs but i’m leaving him to sort that himself as he hasn’t done many baby chores recently (he’s been great with the house etc, just dragging his heels with picking a monitor and sorting some stuff in the nursery).
one thing that wasn’t on my list for my bag that was mentioned in my antenatal class was a small handheld fan. they do have them in the hospital apparently but are allocated to ladies in labour so if you need it in the early stages or postnatally then you should take your own. thought that was a good shout as the maternity wards are bloody roasting!
aw good to hear from you @Dollydaydream2829 and so pleased to hear Olivia is gaining weight. sorry to hear
about the thrush, oucho! hope everyday means a step closer to less issues and more settling into family life!
i have realised that i’m only focusing on pre-birth and not giving a second thought to post natal life. i’m going to have to get my head around life with a baby, life as a mum and family life. i’m excited but must admit a little scared too!
exciting times @bakingmad83 baby could be en route any day, albeit you’d much rather see out your 40 weeks i bet. there has been an early trend on our thread so you never know xx
i’m fully expecting @Moo31 next update to be my dream came true and baby is here hhaha. how weird would that be!
@OnNaturesCourse agree with Baking that if you get on your big ball and rotate your hips, the chances of baby getting into position are greater. just learned this at antenatal class so good luck! plenty gravity related movements so less lying down and more moving, sex, warm baths etc xx
patiently waiting to go into my diabetes review at hospital. after boasting the other day that i hadn’t had any new issues i have woke the last 2-3 mornings with really blurry eyesight (considering i paid a lot of money for laser eye surgery earlier this year, this does freak me out). quick google had me fearing its high BP or worse, deterioration due to the gestational diabetes so i’m going in to fully inform them and hope there’s advice for me. c’est la vie... what a bloody waste if my surgery results were so short lived 🙈
