Hi All,

I am new to this.

Me and my boyfriend have been TTC now for 2.5 years.

I am regular 28-29 days like clockwork but this month I am 21 days late and only got a positive result 4 days ago (which is really faint and see attached photo) I had another really faint on yesterday but going off my dates I should be 7 weeks tomorrow. Shouldn't there be a stronger line by now? I am scared these are evaporation lines and we have our hope up for nothing. I had tested with other brands and they are negative.

I am going to the doctors on Friday but want to know if anyone else has had this experience?

I feel different and have all the symptoms, sore boobs, sensitive nipples, cramping, nausea I've had spotting (deffo not period as it was very light pink and was clear after 2 days) had a little today also but has since gone clear.

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

I just don't want to get my hopes up :( my heart is breaking

That doesn't look too faint to me! It's possible your cycle did something different or you aren't ovulating when you think, so your dates aren't right. But fingers crossed OP!

Have you tried a first response test?

I can never see the lines on the blue tests but I can safely say I see it on yours! I never used the fancy tests though and always used the cheaper ones but my positives were all faint. They only ever became dark once they'd been sat there for a few days. It's also not uncommon for your body to change its rhythms every so often. I'm pretty regular and can predict what's going to happen but every year or so it'll adjust itself. So don't panic just yet!
And congratulations! And hopefully the Dr will be able to put you at rest though it you're still anxious.

Those tests are terrible for showing false positives, try a frer. Definately would not trust a clear blue test.

Yes tried first response last night when I was panicking but was negative. Not tried first wee of the day yet though so there may be hope.

Hopefully doctor can set me straight.

Would just rather know either way really. Being in limbo is upsetting
