Feeling breathless and bad hip pain

Hey

Is it normal to begin to feel slightly out if breath during the last phase (just going into 3rd tri) I feel like I can't catch a decent breath. I do suffer from asthma although never bad enough to use my inhalers but I just feel like im breathing through a cloth or something sometimes.

Another thing is excruciating hip pain. Getting in and out of bed, my car, work vehicles just everything is turning into a full time job. I can't get any relief paracetomol isn't even taking the edge off.

I have an appointment with my doctor to discuss all this next week but just feeling abit anxious and shitty

I'm like that with the breathlessness at the moment and I'm also going into the third trimester, it's horrible. Walking up stairs I'm panting like a bloody dog by the time I get to the top!

Does the hip pain radiate from your back, through your hip and sometimes down your leg? If so then its sciatica. Paracetamol probably wont do much but there are some stretches and things you can do to help ease it when it's bad. As for the breathlessness, that is normal but keep a very close eye on your asthma. If you find yourself taking your inhalers more often then you'll need to go back for a review to make sure you don't end up having an attack.

I'm not getting any sciatica the best way to describe it is I feel as though my legs are being yanked away from my hip joint. It's all in my vajay hip and very upper thigh. Opening and lifting my legs is near impossible. I drive for a living and it's aggregating it and I have no idea what to do as can't afford to go off sick at the min I need every penny.
Bèen telling my midwife and others for a while and it just got worse so I'm going to push for something. I just feel like being put down :(

Another breathless asthmatic in the 3rd trimester here! Little bit worried about labour if I can't catch my breath now!

Oh god OP you could be me - the way you describe your pain is exactly what I've been going through. Two things helped me - firstly I went to see a really gentle osteopath who manipulates me with massage (no horrid cracking etc) and the second was I realized I was only sleeping on the side of my body where I felt the pain, e.g. My right hip was hurting and I only slept on my right. So I swapped sides of the bed with my husband and now sleep on my left and the pain drastically diminished overnight! I still have some pain but I'm going to the osteo every two weeks now (am 33+4) and it's much more manageable.

I had bad hip pain due to my pelvis moving around too much (spd or similar) try a pelvic support band, it really helped me.
