After breaking a bra this week i feel it's probably time to get some more support for the big swollen beachballs currently attached to my chest.
Looking online I can't see much above a DD which is slightly unhelpful as that was my cup size before.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get my baps measured that caters for those of us on the larger side? DPs suggestion of sewing two hammocks together has not gone down well. Angry

Don't get them measured at M&S as they are not very good at getting the right size. However, once measured you can get loads of bigger bra sizes from the M&S website - I'm a 38H and can get a good choice there.

Any good local bra shops near you?

Thanks for the reply. Not really any decent shops near me. I'll try a shopping centre at the weekend to get measurements then see what m&s have online. Ta x

Debenhams have good supportive bras and the one near me does fitting although the bras are pricey. Thankfully I'm not suffering from many boob problems mine have stayed more or less the same so can't advise what brand or types best. They have maternity ones that aren't wired up that ate comfy

Go to an independent shop. Avoid m&s, debanhams etc.

Can recommend Bravissimo. If you can't go to the shops they can help you fit remotely and have a great returns policy. Sadly last pregnancy I went above their biggest (L cup!) and found a company called Optifitbra.com who send a special tap measure and DVD and you send back various measurements and they make them to fit. Was good but expensive (although I managed to hit a sale).

In my last pregnancy I bought some from hot milk online. It had good measuring guides on there and really good customer service. The bras were great when they arrived too and doubled up as maternity bras too.

I'm a fan of Bravissimo in general and am definitely going there for nursing bra's. I went in at 26 weeks to get fitted for a maternity bra and bought 2 as I had gone up a size.

Hot milk is good and Mothercare we're pretty great :)

definitely Bravissimo

WineAndTiramisu · 27/09/2017 16:12

I'm reluctant to try bravissimo, as I went there years ago, they told me my size was wrong, dropped the back size and upped the cup size. I never managed more than 20 mins of the very expensive bra, as it was far too tight around the back and very painful, should I give them another go then for a maternity bra?
Was just going to try lots on and see what I thought fit. Was in M&S today and they have very ugly maternity bras! And all of them were in packs of two with one of them being white, surely that's the last thing you want with the possibility of milk leakage stains?!

I wish I had this problem haha My boobs have hardly grown at all :(

Mum2oneds · 27/09/2017 16:45

I've always gone to marks and spencer no issues always spot on.. always been. Dd cup. And went to an independent one and they said I was an A cup. I laughed out loud it wouldn't even fit a nip lol.
When I had my DS. One of the maternity bras from marks wasn't a good one for me due to the way I grew. I had it on my body and whilst the re I questioned it. They grabbed me a diff style. Re measured and swapped it there and then and gave me another free. I wasn't complaining.

I got measured and then went on figleaves online outlet section, i got some nice hotmilk maternity/nursing bras for around twelve pounds.

Another Hot Milk lover here. Their bras are so supportive!
