Contractions dissapeared

Was monitored on Friday for feotal movement and the midwife told me I was having contractions (the monitor showed them weak but regular). They got stronger Friday night and I barely slept, kept coming and going yesterday till about 6pm then have stopped completely. I am 39+4 and was so excited to think I was going to meet my baby boy soon :( has anyone else had this happen?

This happened to me last monday. Got as close as 6 minutes apart for about an hour then took paracetamol and thought would try and go to bed. Woke up 6 hours later to no contractions or anything! Had a sweep on fri and i was 2cm dilated so must have done something but the sweep has just made me feel periody not started contractions again! Its so frustrating isnt it you get all ready and psyched up and then it all stops!

Yep last weekend.....i am now 40+1 and very grumpy. Also had sweep and just feel period pains

Well hopefully I am close then, I keep getting period pains as well and daggers down below. Just so sick of it all now, I'm walking 3miles+ a day to try and kick start something but the daggers make it hard to speed walk. Good luck to you all too!
