Hey everyone I'm new here !!!
I need some comforting words
I went to loo Thursday night, wiped and bright red blood I just burst into tears my partner was devistated we were convinced we had miscarried .... decided to just go to bed as this happened before and we MC at 7 weeks at Christmas
Woke in the night all that was there was brown discharge, stringy quote a bit of it.

Decided to ring midwife she wasn't any help doctors was rubbish so went and got a private scan... convinced we would have what we dreaded confirmed but no babies was wriggling around and heartbeat was 157 !! So relieved

But still have this brown stuff very light now and wet
But also occasionally get tiny bits of what looks like white flesh but so so tiny

No pain at all

Sorry for long post ! Anyone else had the same

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend :) xxx

Hi Adellalouise, aww you poor thing that must have been so worrying for you. I'm sure everything will be just fine as you've had your scan which picked up a very healthy heartbeat and your beautiful little baby. If it helps I found this online:

'During pregnancy, your cervix (the bottom of your uterus and the part that opens and stretches during labor) is highly vascular. This means it has a lot of blood vessels, so it can bleed easily. If your cervix is irritated during pregnancy, it may cause some brownish-pink discharge.'

It may be that? Also like you I was very worried during my pregnancy but because my baby didn't move a lot at times and they struggled to check baby's heart on the second scan and I had to go back 😳, I was convinced something was wrong but it turned out that my baby was just a typical lazy boy and wasn't getting into position so they couldn't see it!! He's almost 7 months old now and still lazes around on his back most of the time lol and is stubbornly refusing to sit up unaided!! Kids!! You worry when they're on the inside then worry when they're on the outside lol it never ends! It's well worth it in the end and you'll be holding your beautiful baby before you know it.

Ahh thanks for replying surferbel

Yes worry worry worry I'd be scared too if I didn't feel baby move so much it's so frustrating feeling anxious all the time I just want to enjoy being pregnant

Thanks sending that from the net it's a bit more reassuring

I bet your son is beautiful and he'll do things in his own time

I had two miscarriages, then a successful pregnancy with no bleeding. During my next pregnancy I started bleeding at ten weeks, "luckily" I was already an inpatient in hospital so they sent me straight down for a scan. The sonographer said she could see an area of bleeding and I might bleed again, but it was well away from the baby and everything was fine. It was just a pocket of blood in my uterus, like a bruise, possibly from implantation. I was so scared and hysterical with worry but after a few days it stopped and I didn't bleed again, baby is nearly one and all is fine.

Good luck and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well Flowers

Oh my god how stresssful so glad to hear it turned out ok in the end

Once you see blood or anything unusual you just expect the worst it's so difficult to just chill

Everyone around you gets so excited and all we do is worry
Every slight twitch or ache puts me on edge

My friend was so bouncy and happy all the way through I've been a right moody cow ! Xxx
