anyone heard anything about NOT eating honey?
i've just bought a smoothie that's full of it and am paranoid.
can't remember where i read this - seems odd.

Are you sure you aren't getting muddled with not giving honey to babies under a year?

we keep bees and don't worry honey is absolutely fine (ideal labour food, actually). The concern is about the effect of a bacterium (I think) that can be found in honey on an immature gut - no problem at all for adults, and no problem for babies either if cooked.
