Just thought i would pop my head back in.

It's been a while since I last posted. In fact, I haven't been on the site since I had a bunch of people insult me, call me a journalist, and call me a fake account etc.

I went through a tough time during the early stages pregnancy. Feeling ostracised, feeling alone, feeling clueless, coming to terms with potentially being a dad, coming to terms with potentially not being the dad, wondering how to make the relationship work, wondering what the best choices were, trying to navigate a new job and find somewhere to live and etc. I turned to this site for community and support and got very little of it; even Tom the people I personally connected via private message.

Anyway...however many months later, I'm back! Just to let you all know that no, I'm not a journalist or a fake account and despite the naivety in my posts, I'm a real person.

My daughter was born 3 weeks early, 8 weeks ago. Healthy and beautiful, and a vessel of the universe's magic. I managed to resolve my issues and now I'm well and truly content with my mini-female-me.

Congratulations and glad to read you worked it all out. Its not easy being a man and looking after a new family. It brings its own stresses. Be patient for the next 3 years and try to read as much as you can about PND, weaning, teething and the terrible two's. Unfortunately that cuteness does not last forever so enjoy while it lasts. They are an absolute joy to bring up but they can be a pain in the arse sometimes.

There was no need for the comments on how mean everyone was to you. They weren't. You posted a very journalist-like, trolly, phishing type thread wanting women to share painful stories and then huffed when they questioned your motives. You're not "owed" support from here in the form you demand it, nobody is.

Literally thought this was a website for support. And seeing how open and honest people were, I thought they wouldn't mind sharing. I try to learn and grow through empathy. And since this is all new to me, it's hard to empathise and grow through blind ignorance.
I was totally unaware of how I came across and have zero remorse for simply seeking help, regardless of how I came across.

It's unfortunate that I came across in such and will in future, do my best to portray myself better.

I don't recall saying I was "owed" support so there's really no need for the quotation marks.

I'm not looking for support. I'm not looking for an apology. I'm not looking for anything. I have absolute free-reign to do what I desire in life, even if that desire is to post random posts to complete strangers on a website, and not desire so much as even a congratulations. I'm really not all that bothered.

However, where love is received, love is returned.

Today I had the absolute best day bonding with my lil Moon Child. She is the absolute best!!! I'm sorry if you've been lead to believe otherwise 😂😂😂 just kidding!!!
