I'm currently 5 weeks, but for the majority of week 4 my back was hurting so bad, especially around the time of my period, my tailbone felt like it was having some reeeeeeal issues. I also got ill, stuffy nose, headaches, general blah. I've been very tired indeed... however I'm now starting to feel a little less achy, I managed to do chores and work today etc... which was nice. Sleeping is becoming easier. Of course I've been taking about two tests a day to make sure my hormones aren't dropping lol :-) but yeah, I don't remember the first week being that rough, but maybe it was because I was ill

Haha yes I promised myself I wouldn't do a million tests this time. That lasted all of a day! I literally ache all over DH thinks it's because I did a test so I know now so my mind is giving me symptoms Hmm

Tell him to bugger off! Lol. I think men are just so alien to the idea of growing an actual human inside you that it sometimes confuses them to the point of ignorance. You're growing human! You're going to feel more rough during the first trimester than you do the entire pregnancy... then that get's replaced with exhaustion, back ache, headaches, eating like you're starving, etc.

My body reacted badly to the pregnancy hormones at 4 weeks and gave me a 6 week cold. Bad back ache, headaches, tiredness, all on top of HG. Currently on cold 3 during this pregnancy now and very fed up.
Considering every pregnancy is different your body could just be reacting differently thus time round. My mum had different reactions with each of me and my siblings. She was HG with me but not the others and my youngest brother she had barely any symptoms.

Hopefully the symptoms won't last for too long for You, regardless of pregnancy related or not Flowers

Omg the beginning of my pregnancy I thought I had a severe sinus infection. Cold chills fever sore throat sore head and I was so tired. The nausea as well 😷 it was literally days after getting married. Being pregnant never entered my head because my implant had come out a month before. Now any time I feel sick or poorly I have to convince myself m not having another baby 😂
