Hi everyone,
I have took 2 Tesco pregnancy tests today both came up with faint lines within designated time. Please see pics. Also took a clear blue one after with very minimal wee which came up negative. I am four days late. Am I??

Your period is 4 days late, you have got 2 positive pregnancy tests. Which part are you unsure about?

tidgypudge · 21/09/2017 17:51

Well just that they are really faint and then had the negative of the clear blue one, and some ppl on another site going on about faulty Tesco tests and blue dye issue lol

Ignore the snark! I can see why you're worried-they are quite unclear and not nice thick lines. Get thee a FRER this evening and try again on a hold this evening! Wonderful things with nice clear lines. Let me know how it goes!!

Ahh thank honey! Never heard of those where do I get them from?? Xx

Try nothing this evening. HGC is more concentrated at the start of the day which is why you test first thing in the morning and is why, when you've done 3 tests in a row, your urine is less concentrated and you get a negative result.

Do it first thing tomorrow if you need to do another one and then step away from the tests.

Thanks Hun will do! Fingers crossed! X

@PotteringAlong If she is over her period dd you can test anytime in the day :)

CL1982 · 21/09/2017 18:51

@tidgypudge Boots or Superdrug. They are great tests.

tidgypudge · 21/09/2017 18:53

Cool will try and get some. I know my partner picked some up from Morrisons but I think he got there own version. You know what men are like lol. We will see hopefully they are faint positives but if not I'm very lucky to have 3 beautiful daughters already xx

Sounds good :)

Littlebatcalledlucille · 21/09/2017 19:33

I just used these tesco ones too (the second line with them tests are dead faint)
I got the same result.
You are pregnant!

tidgypudge · 21/09/2017 20:11

I know I should wait till the morning but just done another one a Morrisons one and nothing at all came up. So I think those first ones must be wrong! Thanks for all the support everyone Smile

Morrisons are not sensitive though. Try a First response :)

tidgypudge · 22/09/2017 08:08

Negative this morning x

I'm so sorry :( Those bloody tests are terrible early and cause a lot of heartache. The best early ones are First Response Rapid results (FRER), Superdrug very early or the blue cross Clearblue. Good luck for the future!

tidgypudge · 22/09/2017 09:40

Thank you honey. Xxxx SmileSmile
