Hi,
New to this site and hoping you girls can make me feel a bit more normal.
Yesterday I found out I was pregnant, went to the doctors after work and booked in for the midwife who called me today to get me booked in for two weeks times.
My other half is super excited about it all but I'm just feeling a bit in denial about it.
I'm having a really hard time believing it.
I'm not sure if I'm just really overwhelmed considering I'm getting married in 7 weeks.
I just can't get my head around the idea at all, I keep expecting my period to come (sorry tmi)
Anyone else felt like this? or am I just being a bit crazy?
Sorry for the long essay

You're not crazy. It's sometimes tricky to get your head round until you have your 12 week scan.

Congratulations by the way!

I am exactly the same. I'm now 12 weeks. 5 positive tests, three missed periods, all the usual symptoms and a scan. And I'm still just in denial. I can't believe that the little thing I'm seeing on this scan pic is in my belly. I think the kid is gonna be 18 before I actually believe it!!
Hope you start feeling it soon! And congrats!

Thanks girls, made me feel a lot better. I think once the scan is done way and the wedding has been I'll start to come to terms with it (hopefully anyway)

Sorry that was meant to be more real!

Not uncommon, it's such a big adjustment and takes a while to process, congrats!

I'm 31 Weeks and still don't always believe it. It can take a while.
Congrats with both the wedding and the pregnancy

I was the same, I woke up every morning with a fear of great in my tummy and could never work out why until I remembered I was pregnant again. It does get easier though. Xx
