Stretch and sweep results 39+4. Any thoughts or stories based on your experiences

So i had a sweep and stretch today at 39+4. Notes say 1cm dilated. 2cm soft cervix. Posterior position. Any thoughts based on your experience???

I had one at 39+1 & 39+3. 1-2 dilated, soft & to the front. Unfortunately I still had to get induced at 40weeks, where I still wasn't any more dilated.

It really is hit or miss with them I think.

I had one around the same time it didn't work for m and I was induced in the end x

I had two, the second one possibly worked in that I went into labour 24 hours later but I was already overdue so who knows whether I would have done anyway. Good luck OP!

Hmm I'm not hopeful now 😞

I had 2, one did feck all, the other I was 41+4 anyway and went into labour the day after.

Any news?

No nothing so far just usual period like pains
