strange muscle aches

when I try and pull my tummy in, or stretch my tummy (kind of like when you pull yourself up to your full height) I get a strange ache, like a pulled muscle. It feels like I've done way too many sit ups, when in reality I've done none at all. Anyone else got this?

I just need a bit of reassurance, I also feel strange muscle twinges when I've been sitting down at work all day. I have to force myself to get up and walk around, but sometimes I'm so buried in work I forget for up to 5 hours at a time! It doesn't feel like cramps, which would worry me senseless though!

Hi MrsMar
Yep- I get constant aches very much like you describe. Sometimes after sitting at my desk for a while I find it hard to stand straight and it hurts too much. I also find that when I start walking its quite painful but it goes and I end up feeling better after it for a while. If they worry you call your MW and she should be able to reassure you. Mine said mine was because the baby was laying really low.
Out of interest how far gone are you? I will be 25 weeks tomorrow.

Hello Princesspowersparkle, thanks for that. I'm 16+3. The aches are usually around my bump or at the bottom of it, just around my bikini line. They're occasionally sharp, and they do feel a bit like muscle aches. They're too close to the skin surface to be anything really worrying iyswim.

Thats sounds exactly the same as me. Try not to worry about it hon, but take it easy and don't push yourself. Rest when you can.
