Baby lying sideways

I'm currently 26 weeks with DC2 so I know that there is still a lot of time for baby to move before D-Day. BUT I am just so incredibly uncomfortable and I'm wondering if it's down to the position baby is in.

I remember feeling quite a lot of movement with DC1 towards the top of my bump, but with this one it's all right down low. Little tickles just by my pubic bone and big kicks one side just near my hip bone. I get movement on the other side too by my hip bone but slightly less. I get nothing anywhere north of my tummy button and it's all just so so low down. Underneath my bump just aches constantly and feels soooo heavy!

Is this usual for this stage? I really can't remember!! My first was back to back so not positioned well for any meaningful comparisons.

Hey OP i'm 34 weeks now but baby didn't go head down until 27 weeks and i felt him turn! He was in the same position as your little one and i had exactly the same feelings you describe except he used to kick me in my cervix all day long 😂

First baby here and he was transverse up until week 28 and then he moved. I was in a lot of pain for 2 days as he did so. Do you know where your placenta is as that could be factor into the lesser feeling on one side. Mines anterior right next to my belly button and never feel him kick there even though he's head down now. He loves to headbut my cervix though from the feeling it so I understand how uncomfortable it can be, especially when he stretches nd shoves his foot right into my rib cage.
