Ttc after d&c advice. PLEASE!

Are there any real health reasons why you have to wait till after your first period to ttc again. I've read its more for dating purposes no health reasons.
Miscarried on the 6th of September and had a d&c on the 7th. I've completely stopped bleeding and have had intercourse with protection obviously.
Please let me know what you think about this or what you've been through.

The only reasons to wait are to date any future pregnancy (which is not much of a reason IMO) and to ensure you are emotionally recovered and strong enough to deal with another pregnancy / potential loss.

There is a school of thought that you are more likely to get pregnant immediately after a MC. This is particularly the case if you are aged 35+ as then you also would be getting older during any wait so it might be worth cracking on.

I guess doctors will be able to date the next pregnancy one way or another so dating reasons to not ttc yet don't really bother me. As long as there aren't no health reasons why not to try.

Have you taken a pregnancy test to make sure it's negative? I wouldn't start trying again until you've had a negative test, but if you have then go for it. There is no reason at all not to (other than dating, but who cares about that really!). You can always use opks to help with dating.

Not since my d&c no. Shall I to make sure my hormone levels are okay? Once the test is neg can we start trying? Sorry what's opks?

I got pregnant right after having a miscarriage without having a period. We waited for me to test negative on a pregnancy test then started ttc right away. There aren't any risks...its just for dating reasons. I had a reassurance scan 8 weeks and 4 days after my MC and my little measured dead on 8 weeks 4days!

Just taken a pregnancy test and negative. Also an ovulation test which is slightly positive so looks like we can start trying again thanks a lot every one!!!
