Maternity Sleeping Bras

Hi all,

Happy Monday!!

Has anyone tried one of the maternity sleeping bras, and did they help?

I am only 9 weeks 4 days but my boobs have grown a lot already and they are very sore and itchy.

I am unable to sleep at night due to how sore they are, but have been advised against wearing my bra to bed.

I was told to wear a crop top instead but this gave me no support at all. I wondered how people had got on with the maternity sleeping bras and if they helped, before I buy one (as they look very similar online to my crop top)

Also if anyone has any tips on hot to deal with sore boobs (and itchy nipples) then I would love to hear your advice.

Thanks all for the help :)

The soft crossover type ones? Yes I wore them all though both pregnancies. Found them really helpful. Also great for wearin lg at night if breastfeeding to keep pads in place if leaking etc.

Found these to be the most comfortable nursing bras. So much so, that I wore them day and night. http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/emma-jane-seam-free-maternity-nursing-bras-b7522.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIYCIh8Ku1gIVhecbCh1AawQCEAQYAyABEgJf9vDD_BwE

Thanks both.

I will check the ones out that you have recommended.

Just really hope they help, as I am desperate for a good nights sleep!!

I had really sore boobs and chest pains when I was pregnant. Sadly ended in MMC for me. I got sleeping bras from mothercare and they were brilliant. Still wear them now to give support in bed!

Oh and they were the crossover ones. I also bought the crop top ones which were rubbish for me.

I have some soft crossover Bras from a brand called kindred bravely, you can get them on amazon. Really comfy and good if you have a small back and large breasts as they do a 'busty' version of each size, I really struggled finding stuff that fit as a 28E. I wear them in the day too, and now dd can pull them aside herself if she wants a feed, which is great for cosleeping.

I've been wearing nursing bras to sleep in since I was about 10 weeks...
Just the Marks and Spencer multipack ones.
They are very comfy and I don't feel like I'm being strangled by my boobs when I'm trying to sleep!

Yes!! I have been wearing them since 8 weeks. Got two for £20 from Asos :)

I found a sports bra worked well for me Xxxxx

I rate the LoveSIA brand off Amazon. Comfy day and night. I'd smother on Lansinoh for the sore nipples and apply something cold (bag of peas etc) when things feel hot or tender.

HerSymphonyAndSong · 19/09/2017 05:36

I'm just using an old sports bra which works well. It's still v early days and they may well still grow so I don't want to spend money

Another vote for the Kindred Braveley ones, I have three, and they're very comfortable. I'm 23 weeks and have gone from an E to a G cup, and wear them to sleep pretty much every night. Found them to be super soft, very comfy, and wash well too. :)
