Aspirin 75mg

Hi all

I have been prescribed aspirin till delivery because of a previous placenta abruption.

I have been taking it for just over a week with no symptoms. But this morning with in minutes of taking it I started having heart palpations (which I've had before because of a hyperactive thyroid ) but this one was a lot longer and more intense. Also after the palpitation i got pins and needles in my arms.

I have had all of the above before pregnancy but it was hormone and stress induced. None of which I currently feel

Has anyone ever had anything like this should I see the gp ?

OP how many weeks are you? I had those at around 9/10 weeks and I was also on aspirin. Get them checked out but they turned out to just be my heart getting used to the extra blood flow....

Thank you all :) thank goodness I didn't feel too bad for the rest of the day so decided to wait for Monday for the GP/ midwife . I am just waiting for a endocrinologist appointment. I got a letter through yesterday saying I will have a appointment soon so get bloods done a few days before. I'm 18 weeks 19 on Tuesday

It's highly unlikely to be the aspirin. It good you're getting it checked :)
