2nd antenatal appointment

Is your second antenatal appointment always your dating scan? I've had my appointment come through but it mentions nothing about a scan? Also has anyone else had pink when they've wiped? Is this normal?

How far along are you? Have you had your booking appointment as there should be a sheet that breaks down the appointments.
As for the scan, all I remember was getting a letter from the hospital telling me exactly what they expected of me (scan was done in a Different hospital to the one my appointments are held)
As for the bleeding, again it depends how far along you are. Some women experience it and have no problems bug if you're worried speak to the midwife

Probably depends depends where you are in the country. My second, after booking in app, has always been my bloods at the hospital and getting weighed etc.

I've had my booking in appointment been weighed but still need to go back and do bloods as the phlebotomist(?) Wasn't there. I'm 8 weeks by the date of the appointment I'll be 13

I had the midwives do my bloods so I'm not entirely sure. You can always phone up the midwives and ask them, they'll be more than happy to help you. I've phoned them up loads about things I've not been sure about seeing as this is my first baby and they've never made me feel like o was wasting their time. Better to double check than keep wondering.

I was given both the date of my first booking appointment and my dating scan appointment when I first phoned up to book in with the midwife. I suspect that may be because the scans have been at different hospitals to the antenatal clinic though.

Just ring your midwife and ask.

I need to get assigned one first she underlined some from a list and said it would be one of them but I've had no news yet will chase it up tomorrow
