Faint positive then negative in the morning?😭

Yesterday at around 5pm I took a pregnancy test and it came with a very very faint line but you could definitely see it! I kind of got my hopes up abit but tried and put it aside.
Well this morning I did a another (same brand) and it was negative! So so confused! I have been having cramps for a few days , my period was due yesterday so I'm late don't know what to do 😢

No advice but I'm the same! Very faint positive two days ago when AF was due, unsure if eyes were playing tricks on me, tested again today and see as a very very very faint positive/negative. Again, eyes playing tricks on me?!

As far as I'm aware a positive is a positive.
I had a similar experience using morrisons own brand- got such a feint positive that I could barely see it. Decided to try again the next morning & it was negative. Then, because google told me you can sometimes get a bfp on an ovulation stick, I pissed on one of those & got a positive again. It was a very confusing time but it turned out I was pregnant.

You have to wait for some time. Use another brand. All are not same. Also consult with gynaecologist if you are confused. Periods may also be late due to some other reasons. It is not necessary a sign of pregnancy. relax yourself. Once I got my periods after exact two months. I was so confused. That's why when I conceived first, I thought it was a late period. I confirmed my pregnancy from doctors three times. I didn't get any cramps during my pregnancy except when I was in 8 month. Just wait and watch. Don't take any stress. You will get it at right time.

Wait a couple of days or try a more sensitive brand (first response early response is the most sensitive)

When you've only got such a low hCG level to get squinters you're really on the cusp which means any slight change - more dilute urine or different batch of tests or whatever - can result in a negative test.

You have to be patient I'm afraid! hCG in healthy pregnancy doubles every 48 hours so if you wait 2 days the levels should be high enough to give you a clearer idea.

In the UK doctors generally won't be interested in pregnancy test queries, they'll just tell you to wait 3 days and test again.

Have you tried clear blue? You'll know for sure then.

We actually had TWO negative pregnancy tests before we got the positive. One was four days before period due. One was either on the day it was due, or the day after, when nothing happened. So we assumed no success that month, and went to the pub.

A week later, period over a week overdue, I tried again. Success!

When we had our 12 week scan, our due date was actually a few days later than we first thought. We've come to the conclusion that the embryo just hung around for a few days and then took a while longer than usual to implant, hence the original negatives.

Maybe you are the same? I base this on absolutely nothing scientific, not quite sure what happens with the hormone levels and when, but it might just take a few days to get a detectable level.
