Is a dating scan at 11+4 okay?

Hiya, I've just received my dating scan letter for 9th October.
My mw went by the date of my miscarriage (no period between) but I was sure I was a week after and my private early scan put me at the exact date I thought.
If i am right it means my nhs scan will be when I'm 11+4 which is fine but I'm worried they won't be able to do all the proper tests, or see enough? Does anybody know if this is the case?
I'm away for the following week (when I'd be 12 weeks) so they must have offered me this as by their dates I'd be over 14+4 the week after that.
Thanks and hope what I've said makes sense :)

I think 11+4 is just within the range (not 100% though).

If your a bit worried phone them up tomorrow to double check.

Hi, mine ended up being at 11+5 and it was fine. They seen everything they needed to clearly and I was able to have the blood tests

Mine was 11+6 with my second and all was fine for them to see 😊

I think 11 to 14 is the acceptable range? You'll only be 3 days off 12 weeks, can't get much closer than that. Mine was at 13+5 I think.

Early scans can be inaccurate before 12 weeks as the embryo is so tiny. I had one at 8 weeks and it put me over a week behind where I knew I should be. Funnily, enough by my 12 weeks scan I had 'caught' up to where I thought I should be!

I am not sure where the window is for the tests done at 12 weeks scan but I know that after a certain date they can't do them. So I think it would be better to be slightly early than 12 weeks and get called back at a later date, rather than miss the window.

Anything between 11 and 14 weeks is what my local authority say for the dating scan. I had mine at what I thought was 11+4 to be told I was actually only 10+4 and had to go back two weeks later to confirm dates and all was well.
